Chartered in Spring 2025, the Alpha Iota Chapter brings the fire, purpose, and promise of sisterhood to Austin, Texas. Guided through the vision and leadership of Soror Trina Anderson, the chapter traces its roots to the Nerina line, carrying forward a unified legacy grounded in excellence, integrity, and royal strength.
As an emerging chapter in the Texas capital, Alpha Iota is intentionally building a foundation that centers purpose, wellness, and collective care. Our chapter exists to serve as a resource for healing and empowerment, extending our hands and hearts to the Austin community with intention and compassion.
Alpha Iota’s work is rooted in health, wellness, and advocacy. We are actively developing a framework focused on medical education, wellness outreach, and supportive care, with the goal of creating sustainable impact for individuals and families across the region. Through collective service and regional engagement, our members bring the Delta Psi Rho spirit directly into local neighborhoods.
While still shaping our signature annual programming, Alpha Iota has already begun cultivating a strong chapter culture through consistent community engagement and connection. From recurring virtual Meet and Greets to vision and tradition workshops, we are laying the groundwork for a chapter identity that is both intentional and enduring. Our recent community-centered gatherings reflect our commitment to sisterly love, presence, and meaningful connection.
Alpha Iota believes in the power of collective effort to uplift both the individual and the community. As we continue to grow, our focus remains clear: to serve as a primary resource for wellness, advocacy, and care in Austin, while building a strong, centralized presence across Central Texas.
