Chi Chapter- New Orleans, LA

Chartered on April 1, 2024, the Chi Chapter is rooted in legacy, resilience, and the unmistakable spirit of New Orleans. Built upon the transformative leadership of Sorors Kelli Parker, Nydia Wells and Sharena Lightfoot, the chapter carries the charter line name “6 Folds of RHOyal Pressure,” honoring the six charter members who brought the vision to life.

Guided by the motto “We Dat. Stay Ready.” Chi Chapter represents a culture of readiness, service, and pride. We blend New Orleans tradition with national excellence, showing up with intention in every space we serve.

Our chapter is recognized for its signature presence through Second Line community appearances and iconic umbrellas, symbolizing unity, visibility, and cultural pride. These traditions reflect our commitment to honoring our roots while engaging the community in meaningful, presence-driven service.

At the core of our work is Domestic Violence Awareness and Advocacy, led through our initiative From Ashes to Action. This cause is deeply personal to our chapter and centers survivor support, education, and visible advocacy. Our Annual Domestic Violence Ball and ongoing empowerment programming bring awareness, resources, and healing to our community.

Chi Chapter also fosters connection and growth through quarterly recruitment mixers that celebrate sisterhood with the creativity and hospitality unique to New Orleans.

Since chartering, Chi Chapter has made a strong national impact. We have been recognized for Social Media Excellence and earned Best Probate Performance at Boule 2025 for our Spring Line of ’25, reflecting our creativity, cohesion, and disciplined presentation.
