Upcoming Events/Programs

Chartered on June 12, 2021, in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee, the Delta Chapter was built from humble beginnings with five dedicated women and has since grown into a thriving chapter of 26 Sorors strong. Rooted in authenticity and community connection, Delta Chapter stands as a trusted presence committed to meaningful, hands-on service throughout the Bluff City.

Under the steady leadership of President April Fletcher-Smith and Vice President Zipporah Massey, both serving since 2022, Delta Chapter has developed into a chapter known for advocacy, consistency, and genuine engagement. Guided by our motto, “Built on Sisterhood. Guided by Purpose,” we believe real impact comes from action, not appearances.

Our work is deeply focused on addressing critical needs within the Memphis community. Delta Chapter prioritizes HIV Awareness and Domestic Violence Awareness and Advocacy, delivering education, prevention resources, and survivor-centered support. These focus areas reflect our commitment to protecting wellness, dignity, and safety across our city.

Sisterhood within Delta Chapter is intentional and foundational. We cultivate trust, accountability, and love through meaningful connection, ensuring our members are supported academically, emotionally, and personally. This internal strength fuels our ability to serve with compassion and credibility.

Our community engagement includes regular direct-action initiatives such as feeding the unhoused, participating in domestic violence and breast cancer awareness walks, and neighborhood blight clean-ups. These efforts reflect our belief that service should be visible, consistent, and responsive to real community needs.

Delta Chapter represents purpose in action. We show up. We stay engaged. And we remain committed to creating lasting change in Memphis through service grounded in sisterhood.
