Chartered in 2022, the Nu Chapter was established with a clear mission to serve as a bridge for underserved communities across South Carolina. Based in Columbia and rooted in the Midlands, Nu Chapter is a sisterhood committed to intentional action, community empowerment, and addressing critical needs with care and consistency.
Guided by the principle of filling the void, Nu Chapter focuses on identifying gaps in resources and responding with practical, life-changing solutions. Our work centers on uplifting individuals and families through education, advocacy, and strategic partnerships that strengthen the fabric of our community.
Nu Chapter takes a holistic approach to service, addressing a wide range of challenges including food insecurity, homelessness, maternal health, domestic violence, and senior support. Through collaboration with local schools, health organizations, community centers, and faith-based partners, we provide mentorship, education, and access to essential resources for those most in need.
Economic empowerment and community connection are also key pillars of our work. By supporting local entrepreneurs, hosting resource connection workshops, and engaging families through maternal health education, Nu Chapter helps build pathways to stability and long-term growth throughout the Midlands.
Looking ahead, Nu Chapter is committed to measurable impact. Through strategic fundraising, business sponsorships, and community grants, we aim to expand support for families experiencing hardship and establish Nu Chapter as a trusted, premier partner for positive change across South Carolina.
