The Kappa Chapter is committed to serving and uplifting the Tampa Bay community with a focused dedication to the mental health, wellness, and overall well-being of women of color. We believe service is most powerful when it is consistent, responsive, and rooted in genuine care. Our chapter shows up where support is needed most, with intention and compassion guiding every effort.
Our work centers on meeting both immediate and long-term community needs. Kappa Chapter actively engages in initiatives that address food insecurity, health education, youth mentorship, and neighborhood revitalization. Through regular meal service and supply distribution, wellness workshops focused on nutrition and mental health, and mentorship programs for young women, we invest in holistic support that strengthens individuals and families alike.
Health advocacy remains a key pillar of our mission. Kappa Chapter partners with local organizations and mental health advocates to provide education, resources, and access to support services for women in need. We are proud to expand this work through growing partnerships that promote healing, awareness, and empowerment throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Our commitment to service is matched by our dedication to partnership. From senior care initiatives and youth-focused outreach to participation in regional awareness walks and community festivals, Kappa Chapter values collaboration as a tool for broader impact. These partnerships allow us to extend our reach while remaining grounded in hands-on service.
Kappa Chapter continues to build a reputation for compassion in action. Through meaningful programming, consistent volunteerism, and a strong sisterhood foundation, we remain focused on creating lasting change and growing our impact across the Bay.
